Over the last few years, significant advances have been made by the Russian mining industry - it makes progress in spite of drastic changes and instability. The industry is on the verge of a new growth cycle, owing to increase of prices for primary commodities. To succeed in a new development phase, it is necessary to commission new production capacities and upgrade the existing ones. Over 20 projects for construction and modernisation of mining and processing facilities are planned in Russia before 2028. Most of the projects are for construction. Overall investments comprise over $15 billio<\/span><\/p>\n
